Analysis - Movement & Light

This image by Brad Carlile relates to light, in the way that the room has been lit up in UV lights. You can see the room has three different lights that are shown within the image as well as in the reflection of the mirror. The main colour light you can see is the turquoise/blue. I like this colour effect as it is reflected in the mirror. Also the contrast between the pink and blue lights work really well together making the edges between the lights become almost purple. The small amount of orange light that is being reflected. I like that he has incorporated mirrors in the photo because as you can see, it makes the picture looks slightly bigger and you get a better contrast out of the image.

Ego Signienko is the second photographer that has used movement and liquid together, to create a really unique captured image. The shutter speed that was probably used was quite a fast one, this is because of the way that the liquid is forming in the middle of the air. Another reason why I like this is because of how well the camera has captured the movement of the liquid, 'exploding' as such from the glass into the air. I really want to experiment with this type of photography myself to see what the possible outcome or remake of this image would be like.

This final image by Uta Barth is another photographer that I really like because of the technique and closeness she has with her subject when taking the image. I really like this picture by her because of the mount of focus and depth of field that she has used. Also the light that she has managed to depicted in the scene is very subtle. Even though the background is out of focus, that is what draws you in to look at the image. The background has many different areas where you can be attracted to. The light reflecting off onto the chairs has worked really well in contrast with the girl in the foreground.
